Pastor Bugingo is at the center of growing speculation as his eldest daughter, Doreen Gift Bugingo, prepares for her introduction ceremony a traditional pre-wedding event.
Doreen is one of three daughters Bugingo shares with his estranged wife, Teddy Naluswa.
Invitation cards for the ceremony have already been distributed, and many prominent figures, especially within the religious community, have confirmed their attendance.
Among the invited are Pastor Robert Kayanja and his wife Jessica, Pastor Jackson and Eve Ssenyonga, Pastor Imelda Namutebi, Pastor Steven Sserwada and his wife, and Pastor Irene Manjeri.
All confirmed guests have been allocated tables and parking spots, signaling a well-organized event. However, it remains uncertain whether Pastor Bugingo will receive an invitation. While some suggest he may still be invited, it’s unclear whether he would attend.

Tensions between Bugingo and his former family appear to be at the heart of the issue. Following his separation from Teddy Naluswa, it’s alleged that he withdrew financial support, leaving his daughters Doreen and Winnie Treasure, who were both attending university at the time, in a difficult situation. Winnie was reportedly studying abroad.
In the absence of their father’s support, Teddy is said to have sought help from fellow religious leaders, including Pastors Kayanja and Ssenyonga, who reportedly stepped in to ensure the girls could complete their education.
Given this history, some view Bujjingo’s potential presence at the ceremony as inappropriate, arguing that he distanced himself during a crucial period in his children’s lives.

Despite the strained relationships, Pastor Bugingo recently made an emotional public statement expressing his desire to reconnect with his children and rebuild their bond in the future.
