As the Ugandan Music Industry evolves, social media has also played a significant role in promoting the Ugandan artists both on a local and international level whereby most of their fans follow them up.
The following are some of the most followed musicians in the country.
1. Masaka Kids Africana
A group of young and  multi talented kids from Uganda Masaka who stop at  nothing but share their talents on different local and International platforms.
Their Tiktok following is at 6.0million followers, Instagram at 9.6million and facebook at 4.9million.
2. Ghetto KidsÂ
Formerly Triplets Ghetto kids, are a dance group founded in 2014 by a one Daouda Kavuma composed of children from the Katwe slums in Kampala Uganda. The ghetto kids rose up to fame after featuring in Eddy Kenzo’s ‘Sitya Losi’ hit song.
They have therefore on their social media platforms been followed and have big numbers with 9.1million followers on Tiktok, 8.4million on Instagram, and 2.1million on facebook.
3. Spice Diana
Real names, Namukwaya Hajarah, she is a Ugandan musician with hit-songs including onsanula, siri regular, Omusheshe among others.
Spice Diana holds an Instagram following of 1.8million followers, 1.6million on Tiktok and 2.3million followers on Facebook.
4. Bobi Wine
Real names, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu and famousyknkwn by his stage names Bobiwine, is an artist turned politician who is one of the music legends in the country, known for his hit songs such as Kiwani, Kadingo, for better for worse among others.
The National Unity Platform President has 1.1million followers on Tiktok, 808kfollowers on Instagram and 2.2million on Facebook
5. Eddy Kenzo
Well known for International Awards nominations such as the Grammys, Eddy Kenzo is a Ugandan musician who had stopped at nothing but to produce hit songs that have always topped charts including Sitya Losi, Stamina, Tweyagale among others.
He has therefore over the years managed to earn lots of fans and hence boasted his social media handles with 1.7million followers on Instagram, 2.1million on Facebook and 604.8k on Tiktok that he recently joined.
However, although  the above mentioned artists have managed to top our lists there are more artists in the Uganda music industry with big social media numbers including Fik Fameika, Sheebah Karungi Cindy to mention but a few.
