Renowned City pastor Martin Ssempa has called for an apology from singer Alien Skin following his controversial stage entrance during a concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on Friday.
The musician’s dramatic arrival, which involved appearing on stage on a cross while smoking, has sparked a wave of outrage online, with many accusing him of blasphemy.
In a TikTok video, Pastor Martin Ssempa expressed his disappointment, stating that although he considers Alien Skin a friend, the act was deeply inappropriate.

“What he did at Lugogo was wrong. Coming on stage on a cross, smoking weed, and wearing a crown in a way that seemed to mimic Jesus was unacceptable. As religious leaders and believers, we were deeply offended,” he said.

Ssempa also revealed that he had previously attempted to guide Alien Skin toward better choices, but this recent incident crossed a line.

The pastor has now given the singer seven days to issue an apology.
