Musician Lydia Jazmine has come forward with her side of the story regarding the recent controversy involving Dan Flavor, who she claims defrauded her in a real estate deal.
In a recent interview, Lydia Jazmine said she initially ignored the allegations Dan Flavor made against her until the situation escalated and she began receiving concerned calls from friends and family.

She maintains she was the rightful occupant of the house and had even planned to have Dan publicly clarify the matter in her presence. However, he blocked her and stopped answering her calls he is now reportedly on the run.
According to Lydia, she met Dan through her broker, Hassan, while searching for a house to buy. From the beginning, she found Dan’s behavior suspicious. He was evasive, avoided cameras, and claimed the house was his, which he was renting out as he planned to relocate to Entebbe.

This turned out to be false when they investigated further, it became clear that the actual owner was unaware of any sale.
The house was in poor condition when Lydia viewed it. When she complained, Dan claimed a manager had been overseeing the property in his absence. They agreed she would pay 15 million UGX for initial renovations. However, this arrangement was made without the knowledge of the actual owner, who was living abroad at the time.
Dan continued to demand money in installments, yet failed to uphold his part of the deal. He did not remove his belongings or animals from the house, nor did he renovate it. Lydia ended up spending her own money on improvements while still sending him payments toward the supposed purchase.

She also addressed rumors that she had moved her family into the home. Lydia clarified that a photo she posted only showed her mother visiting briefly, and she didn’t even stay overnight.
The truth came to light after one of her social media followers, a relative of the real owner, saw the photo. Soon after, Lydia Jazmine received a call from her neighbor Zari, who revealed that the house belonged to her cousin Reagan, who lives in Norway.
“Zari told me the house belonged to her cousin Reagan in Norway. She said Dan had scammed me. He didn’t even know the state of the house,” Lydia explained.
By that point, Lydia Jazmine had already invested over 50 million UGX. Reagan informed her that the house was never for sale and was only available for rent. Lydia confronted Dan and tried to recover her money. She even had him arrested, but later chose to release him after realizing he would never repay her.
“Dan disappeared when he found out I knew the truth. He stopped answering my calls.I had videos and transaction records as evidence, but my phone was stolen. I eventually had to start paying monthly rent to the rightful owner.”,she said.
