Singer Manisul Ssemanda alias King Saha has responded to reports surrounding the scuffle that occurred during his performance in Ibanda on Saturday, March 22.
The”Sala pressure” hit maker rejected media claims that he was attacked and beaten up for incorporating politics into his performance, calling them “false news.”
The incident took place at the newly opened Kanuzire Lounge in the western town, during his performance. King Saha clarified that he was not responsible for starting the altercation.
“I saw the reports, but I’m not the type to randomly start fights. The news is false,” he stated.

He explained that he and his team had arrived early that day, and if there were any issues, they would have been asked to leave before the performance began.
According to the singer, the audience, including many of his fans, was in high spirits and enjoying the show until the altercation unfolded.
While performing his hit song “Sala Pressure,” King Saha noticed a man in the crowd who began acting aggressively and causing trouble.
“My fans started attacking him. I tried to ignore it, but the situation escalated. That’s when I stopped the performance and intervened.”,king Saha recalled.
He added, “I went to pull the man away from the crowd. If I hadn’t intervened, he could have been seriously harmed.”
Saha also mentioned that there were initial concerns about the sound quality, but the issue was eventually resolved.
