Socialite Bryan White is not in Luzira Prison as widely reported, he is still admitted in hospital receiving medical care, singer King Michael has confirmed.
Bryan White, real name Brian Kirumira, was in November charged with seven counts of human sacrifice and manslaughter at Makindye Court and was expected to be remanded until December 18th. However, King Michael says the public got it wrong.
Speaking in an interview, the singer revealed that Bryan White is still undergoing treatment following the severe burns he suffered in the recent accident.
According to King Michael, authorities agreed that Bryan White should first recover fully before the case continues.
“He is recovering well. He is in the hospital and showing signs of improvement. It was decided that his case would be handled after his full recovery, and that’s something we all desired,” he said.
King Michael also called on Bryan White’s former friends not to abandon him during this difficult period.
“Bryan White needs your prayers and the same love and support you showed him when he still had a lot of money. I’ve visited him, and even Pallaso checked on him. He is always happy when he sees his people.”
He further sympathized with the family that lost their loved one in the tragic incident, asking God to strengthen them.
