Ugandan singer Karole Kasita has left many talking after celebrating her son King’s third birthday in a very unexpected way. Instead of throwing a big birthday party, the “Yaka” hitmaker chose to secure her son’s future by buying him land.
Sharing throwback photos from a past photoshoot, Kasita revealed that the land title is her special gift to King as he turns three.
She explained that the idea was inspired by socialite Zari Hassan, who is known for investing in her children’s future rather than spending on expensive celebrations.
Kasita also recalled how King was clearly not enjoying a previous birthday photoshoot, saying he got tired and cried through it all.
That moment, she said, made her realise that such flashy events are not for him.
“You are full of royalty, calm and stress-free. You don’t want pressure. You are a King,” Kasita wrote, adding that instead of a party, she decided to buy him land to “widen his kingdom.”
The singer went on to pray for her son’s long life, protection and many more years to celebrate, thanking God for the gift of motherhood.
King was born on January 4, 2023, at Kampala Hospital. Since then, Karole Kasita has often shared her motherhood journey with fans, noting that becoming a mother completely changed her view on life.
