Musician and former Kawempe North MP aspirant Sadat Mukiibi, popularly known as Kalifah Aganaga, has accused fellow artist Alien Skin of defrauding him of UGX 3 million.

According to the “Ndabirawa” singer, the money was paid by the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party which had endorsed him in the Kawempe North by-election to secure Alien Skin’s performance at his nomination rally in March.

However, in an unexpected turn of events, Alien Skin allegedly failed to show up, and worse still, reportedly switched off his phone, cutting off all communication.

“I don’t have any personal issues with him,but he scammed me during my campaigns. I paid him UGX 3 million to perform at my nomination rally, and he didn’t turn up. That money came from FDC, the party that supported me.”Kalifah said in a recent interview.

Kalifah Aganaga is now demanding that Alien Skin refund the money peacefully, warning that if he fails to do so, the matter could be escalated to legal action.

This incident comes after Kalifah lost the Kawempe North MP seat to a National Unity Platform (NUP) candidate earlier this year.

The relationship between the two musicians once considered close allies has since soured. Tensions escalated further after Kalifah publicly criticized Alien Skin over the death of a dancer, allegedly linked to his music crew, Fangone Forest.

In response, Alien Skin’s camp fired back with insults and online attacks, with some supporters accusing Kalifah of using the issue as revenge for Alien Skin’s failure to honor the campaign booking.
