Ugandan songbird Irene Ntale has finally broken her silence on long-running claims that fellow artist Vinka once served as her manager during their time at Swangz Avenue.
While speaking on a YouTube podcast with Shalom Kaweesi, the Sembera hitmaker dismissed the popular narrative, insisting that Vinka’s role was simply that of a personal assistant, not a manager.

Ntale revealed that her real managers were the Swangz Avenue bosses Julius Kyazze and Benon Mugumbya, not Vinka as rumors have suggested for years.
“That’s a narrative they pushed after. People kept saying my former manager replaced me, but I don’t know why they called her my manager. My managers were Kyazze and Benon. Vinka was just a personal assistant—my handler,” Ntale clarified.
She further stated that she actually played a significant role in spotting and nurturing Vinka’s musical talent before the rest of the country knew her as a singer.

“I was the first to know she could sing. I even invited her to my studio sessions for vocal training. We met as she was a dancer, but when she opened her mouth to sing, it wasn’t a bad sound.”Irene stated.
Ntale’s comments come years after speculation that she left Swangz because the label was grooming Vinka to replace her, allegations she has now firmly shut down.
