Socialite and fashionista Katrina Nilzero, born Sumaya Kayondo, has spoken out to clear the air on long-running rumors linking her fallout with Sheilah Gashumba to singer Rickman Manrick.
Speaking in an interview with Tawfiq Media, Katrina dismissed claims of bad blood, insisting she has no issue with Sheilah despite their once-close friendship fading.
“I do not have a problem with her at all. Even if we met somewhere, nothing would happen,” Katrina said.
She explained that while they were close in the past, people naturally grow apart with time and life changes.
“We were close, but people outgrow each other. I have never argued with her, I don’t wish her anything bad, and I am okay,” she added.
Katrina noted that they last spoke two or three years ago and have since focused on their individual lives and careers.
“I have my life, she has hers. I am a model, she has her businesses. We are totally different people,” she said.
Addressing rumors that singer Rickman caused a rift between them, Katrina strongly dismissed the claims.
“Rickman is not my type. I don’t date men in their youth. I date above 30. He is like a brother to me, and I respect him so much,” she stated.
Katrina urged the public to stop fueling rumors and instead seek the truth directly from those involved.
“I have never had an argument with Sheilah. I wish her all the best. People grow, and people move on that’s life,” she concluded.
