Singer Gravity Omutujju’s mother, Jane Kajoina, was laid to rest today at her home in Nyantabooma, Fortportal District.
She tragically passed away in her sleep on Friday, 18th October 2023, after battling several health issues. Following her untimely passing, vigils were held at her home, followed by a prayer service on Sunday at Nyantabooma Church of Uganda.
Today, Monday, 21st October 2024, a home prayer service was conducted before her burial at 3 PM in Nyantabooma Village, Fortportal.
The burial ceremony was attended by numerous Ugandan celebrities, including Jose Chameleone, Eddy Kenzo, Nina Roz, Mudra D Viral, Green Daddy, Mike Wine, Shakira Shakira, Crysto Panda, and Douglas Lwanga, among others.
Amid tears, laughter filled the air as stories were shared, painting a vivid picture of a life well-lived and a soul that touched countless hearts.
Gravity Omutujju’s mother was born on 14th April 1962 and passed away on 18th October 2024, after being found unresponsive in her bed. While the exact cause of her death has not been officially confirmed, her family believes it may have been linked to her history of diabetes and high blood pressure.
