Former Ugandan Footballer Ibrahim Sekagya is mourning the sudden and unexpected passing of his father , Abdul Shakur Kavuma.
The heartbreaking announcement was made by Ibrahim Sekagya on his social media platforms.
Ibrahim Sekagya says the family was left in shock and deep sorrow by the untimely demise of Abdul Shakur Kavuma, who breathed his last on the evening of December 15th, 2023
In his message ,the grief- stricken footballer and coach shared the sad news
“Waking up on the saddest news: Dear Family Members, Friends, and Well Wishers, With great sorrow, we are sadden to announce the loss of our beloved father,Abdul Shakur Kavuma.
Words can hardly express our depth of pain and sorrow we feel right now. Dad, your departure has left us an irreplaceable gap in our hearts , that will take us time to heal . Surely,” To HIM we belong and to HIM we will all return.”

Ibrahim did not disclose any specific details regarding the circumstances of his father’s death.
He did not mention wheather he had been ill or if the passing was sudden.
However he disclosed that he will be buried today at his necestors burial grounds in Kasangati at 4Pm.
