Jane Kasumba, a former UBC TV Manager and renown sportscaster, is in hot soup over unsettled debts, with reports suggesting she could face jail time.

Allegedly, Kasumba owes a substantial sum of Shs 41.5M, borrowed from Joshua, also known as Pirate Mulwana, which has been outstanding for nearly 11 months.

Joshua claims Kasumba promised repayment on over 50 occasions, even providing signed documents, yet failed to follow through.

Their relationship traces back to their time working together in the media industry as social media Influencers.

Kasumba allegedly approached Pirate Mulwana for a loan, promising repayment within a month. Despite initial assurances, Kasumba reportedly kept delaying payment, leaving Pirate Mulwana to foot the bill along with fines.

In another instance, Kasumba purportedly requested a $15,000 loan, leading Joshua to involve his family members, who pooled resources to assist her.

However, despite assurances of prompt repayment, Kasumba allegedly failed to honor her commitment, leaving Joshua and his family in the lurch, even jeopardizing important medical expenses for his younger sister.
