Ugandan songbird Fille Mutoni has finally broken her silence on long-standing rumors about her marriage plans with her ex-lover and baby daddy, MC Kats—and she has made it crystal clear: she is not marrying him.
Speaking during an interview on Sanyuka TV, Fille revealed that although she once dreamed of being married to the celebrated media personality, that chapter of her life is long closed.
She explained that her mindset has changed over the years, and the idea of wearing a wedding ring no longer defines happiness for her.
“I no longer want the ring. Many people have rings but are not in marriages. Others are happily married without rings. I don’t need a ring to prove my home is happy. Maybe I was young when I wanted him to marry me, but I’m grown now.”,she said.
This comes after MC Kats, in a separate interview, hinted that he was preparing to “legalize” their relationship claiming they only delayed due to property arrangements and had planned to wed on Fille’s birthday.
But Fille has now shut down that narrative completely.
Fille boldly revealed that although she and Kats share a daughter and will always remain friends, her romantic life has taken a different direction.
“I will be calling people very soon for my wedding. It may be this year or a few years from now. Leave Katamba out of this. He is my friend when you have a child with someone, you stay friends.”,she affirmed
The singer emphasized that her relationship with MC Kats is strictly friendship and co-parenting nothing more.
