Renowned Ugandan Rapper Fik Fameica has explained why he missed the highly anticipated Shady Mixtape Beach Party held in London on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
While several Ugandan artists, including Dax Vibez, Mudra, Lydia Jazmine, Ava Peace, Elijah Kitaka, King Michael, and Zex Bilangilangi, successfully traveled to the UK and took to the stage, Fik Fameica was noticeably absent.
The “Pistol” hit maker later confirmed that visa delays were the reason he couldn’t make the trip.
Taking to social media, he expressed his disappointment and apologized to his fans in the UK.
“Got a tough one to share with you all. Unfortunately, due to visa delays, I won’t be able to perform at today’s show in London,” he posted.
He added: “I’m truly sorry for the disappointment this might cause, especially to my fans who were looking forward to the show. I appreciate your understanding and patience. Let’s catch up soon!”
Fans expressed their support and hope to see him perform in the UK in the near future.
