Renowned Ugandan singer, Edrisah Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo has opened up on why he can’t plead to Collaborate with foreign artists , saying that he is a big star.
West African countries have had Ugandans on chokehold with many local artists running to them for Collaborations.
However, Eddy Kenzo say that he is an established artist who is recognized by many for his works and sees no reason why he would beg with foreign artists to Collaborate with them.
Speaking during an interview with Galaxy TV, Eddy Kenzo revealed that he is open to work with foreign artists when the opportunity comes.
However, he clarified that he is only willing to work with Foreign Artists if the chance comes with the need to plead to them to Collaborate with them as he stressed that he knows his self – worth and how influential he is in the arts industry.
“When an opportunity of working with an International Artist comes, I’ll take it up only if they are also ready, if it involves pleading, I’m not up to it, I’m Eddy Kenzo, I’m a big star” ,Eddy Kenzo stated.
He further expressed his admiration for Nigerian star,Davido for being a son of rich man in Nigeria but he chose to leave all that behind and worked hard to the top. That Davido spent sleepless nights working on his dream and has stayed very humble despite his stardom.
“I have a lot of people that inspire me but for now I’ll talk about Davido, he’s a son of a rich man but he left all that and worked hard to the top, he has spent sleepless nights working on his dream and he has stayed very humble” Eddy Kenzo replied when asked to mention the international artists he admires most.
Eddy Kenzo has been active in the music industry for years , he has Performed on several big Music stages, win different local and international awards and he is still competing at the highest level.
