Ugandan singer and UNMF president, Eddy Kenzo, has opened up about the silent battles he’s facing despite his massive achievements in the music industry.

While speaking to journalists over the weekend, the Big Talent boss revealed that although the public may see only a few people opposing him, there are many powerful individuals secretly working against him.

Kenzo, real name Edrisa Musuuza, said most of the hate comes from jealousy and pride. He explained that many people can’t stand his success because he managed to achieve what others failed to do.

“Some of the projects I’ve worked on were once tried by other people but they didn’t succeed. When I took over, things started moving well, and that made some of them hate me,” Kenzo said.

The Sitya Loss hitmaker added that many artists still find it hard to accept how far he has come.

“Most of these artists saw me start singing without shoes. They were already big names back then, but now I’ve gone beyond them  and that’s hard for them to accept,” he said.

The Sitya Loss hitmaker added that many artists still find it hard to accept how far he has come.

Kenzo also credited his success to God’s grace, saying that not every talented person is blessed to succeed.

“God doesn’t bless everyone the same way. I’m blessed, and that’s why my story is powerful  but some people don’t want to accept that,” he added.

It should be remembered that the presidential advisor on creatives has previously accused some influential figures in government and the entertainment industry of trying to frustrate his progress.
