The president of Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) and Big Talent boss, Edrisah Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo has broken his silence on why he parted ways with longtime friend and business partner Mike wine.
Eddy Kenzo and Mike Wine started their career in 2008 with a banger titled “Yanimba” which took the country by storm.
The two, however, took a different path. Eddy Kenzo became a global star under his record label Big Talent while Mike Wine is still struggling musically under his record label Sulubada High Skool Entertainment.
He clarified that despite their previous fall out, they reached a mutual understanding ,and they currently have health relationship.
He made this revelation was speaking to press over yesterday.
Eddy Kenzo further disclosed that he intially wanted to collaborate on with former fire base singer Fantom Lovins, but Mike Wine Convinced him other wise by revealing his relation to Bobi Wine , which Kenzo show as an opportunity for fame.
He latter suggested bringing producers Tonny Houls and Paddy man on board for the production of their Collaboration , resulting in a monster hit.
Adding that the song was initially produced at Firebase studio and later mastered and mixed at Paddy Man’s Dream studio.
Although the success of the song caught Bobi Wine’s attention, Kenzo clarifies that he never formally became a member of the Fire Base camp, but rather benefited from the association.
