Minister of State for Finance, Haruna Kasolo, has dismissed allegations that he ordered the cancellation of singer King Saha’s much-anticipated Kyotera extra concert.
This follows Saha’s weekend social media outburst, where he claimed that Kyotera authorities halted his show at the last minute on instructions from Minister Kasolo because of his relationship NUP president Bobi Wine.

Saha shared a video alleging that the District Police Commander (DPC) told him Kasolo had directed them to block the performance despite earlier clearance.
Saha wrote,
“It’s very sad that under unclear circumstances, my Kyotera concert has been cancelled. Despite fulfilling all requirements, the DPC and RDC have stopped it at the eleventh hour. I’m yet to understand why this unfair decision was made to stop me from performing in my own homeland.”

However, while addressing NRM supporters in Kyotera, Minister Kasolo refuted the claims. He insisted he is not an events organiser and had no role in stopping the show.
Kasolo added that Saha should “stop involving him in his mess,” arguing the singer failed to properly clear the venue with the right authorities.
