Musician Dan Flavour, real name Daniel Tumwesigye, has demanded a public apology from fellow artist Lydia Jazmine following accusations she made against him regarding a failed property deal.
He has also warned of legal consequences if she fails to retract her statements.

The dispute stems from a rental agreement gone awry, in which Jazmine accused Dan Flavour of defrauding her of over 40 million Ugandan shillings.
She alleged that he had falsely claimed ownership of a house in Munyonyo and had sold it to her. After discovering that the property did not belong to him, Jazmine went public with the allegations and claimed Dan Flavour had gone into hiding to avoid arrest.
In a recent interview with Sanyuka TV, Dan Flavour strongly denied the accusations and expressed deep embarrassment over the situation. He urged Jazmine to issue a public apology, claiming her statements were defamatory and damaging to his reputation.

“We are all human, and I’m not obligated to forgive her. But she needs to come out and apologize for what she did to me. Why should I apologize to her when she’s the one who wronged me?”,Dan Flavour said.
He criticized Jazmine’s decision to handle the matter through the media, accusing her of tarnishing his public image. He also revealed that the matter is now in the hands of his legal team and that defamation charges have been filed against her.
“If she comes out publicly and apologizes, then I’ll have no problem with her.But my lawyers are handling the case now and are already in contact with her.”,he added.

Dan Flavour emphasized that an official apology could lead to a resolution, but without it, legal proceedings will move forward.
