Crysto Panda has broken his silence about leaving NTV Uganda, where he gained prominence as the vibrant host of the popular teen show T-Nation.
Having joined the station in 2016 as Sheilah Gashumba’s replacement, Panda quickly became a fan favorite. He spent years engaging with youth through school visits and high school events, solidifying his place as a beloved media personality among Uganda’s teens.

However, in 2022, he left the station without much public explanation, prompting curiosity among his followers.
In a recent interview with YouTuber Allan Cruz, Panda shed light on the situation.
“They spoke to the producer and said they wanted to revamp the show. I wasn’t fired it was during a time when NTV was experiencing internal restructuring,” Crysto Panda explained.
Still, Panda hinted that there were underlying factors beyond the official narrative. He pointed to internal politics and dissatisfaction over his salary as possible reasons behind his exit.
“I’m not trying to boast, but I was among the highest-paid presenters, yet I was only on air for one hour. I think that rubbed some top executives the wrong way.I even overheard one of my bosses discussing my pay and expressing resentment about it.”he said.
