Ugandan singer Chosen Becky has voiced her frustration after her phone was stolen during a private engagement ceremony with her fiancé, Abdul Qadir Ssekajja.
The intimate, invite-only event, held yesterday, marked a major milestone for the couple as they moved a step closer to formalizing their relationship.
The ceremony was attended by close friends, family members, and select media personnel.
Unfortunately, the celebration took a sour turn when an unidentified individual made off with Becky’s phone.
According to the singer, the device was stolen just seconds after she set it down, leading her to believe that the act was intentional.
Becky suspects that the thief may have been someone with malicious intent who attended the ceremony solely to gain access to her phone and potentially compromise her social media accounts.
Despite the incident, the singer remains grateful that her device had advanced security features, which have so far prevented any unauthorized access.
She has since purchased a new phone and is working diligently to recover control of her online platforms.
