Musicians and NRM mobilisers Catherine Kusasira and Full Figure stunned attendees when they clashed during a political rally held in Amolatar in support of President Yoweri Museveni.
The two artists were part of the entertainment lineup, invited to energize the crowd and rally support for Museveni ahead of the 2026 elections. However, what was expected to be a unifying performance quickly turned chaotic.
A viral video circulating on social media shows Full Figure requesting the DJ to play her collaboration with fellow artist Pallaso. Her request was swiftly interrupted by Kusasira, who instructed the DJ to ignore it,triggering a heated exchaing between the two.
As tensions rose, Kusasira tried to redirect the focus back to the event’s purpose, stating that their mission was to mobilize Ugandans to support President Museveni, not to stir conflict.
The incident is the latest in a series of public spats between the two, whose long-standing rivalry is rooted in their competing claims to influence and recognition as presidential advisers. Both have frequently used their political roles to criticize and undermine each other.
