“It’s been a while since I last connected with any of you,” Buka Chimey began. “I’ve been on a difficult journey, battling depression, anxiety, and fighting to find myself. The industry’s politics pushed me to my limits, but I had to focus on rebuilding my mental strength.”
Buka Chimey emphasized that he is not sharing his story to seek sympathy or place blame, but to raise awareness about the realities of mental health struggles, especially in the music industry. He expressed profound gratitude to his fans and loved ones for their unwavering support during his darkest moments.
“Your support and love have been my light,” he said. “Let’s continue this journey together, lifting each other up and making more music. Much Love & Gratitude.”
