Musician Brian Avie is reaching out for financial assistance to undergo a crucial surgery as he battles severe ulcers.
The “Omubiri” singer needs approximately UGX 4.5 million to undergo the procedure, which is essential to improving his health.
Avie shared that he has been suffering from ulcers for many years, with the condition worsening recently.
He revealed that he had an episode where he began vomiting blood, which prompted the need for immediate surgery.
Unfortunately, the artist is currently facing financial challenges and lacks the funds to cover the medical costs.
“I have been dealing with ulcers since my high school days, and it’s gotten to the point where I can’t manage it anymore. Recently, I had a severe attack and started vomiting blood. I urgently need surgery, and I’m asking for help from anyone who can assist. The surgery will cost around 4.5 million Uganda shillings, but I currently only have 1 million shillings,” he explained.

Despite being one of the most talented artists in the music industry, Brian Avie has struggled to achieve widespread recognition, even after more than five years in the field.
Earlier this year, he announced he would be taking a break from music until the end of 2025 to focus on his health.
Avie is now calling on his fans and well-wishers to help him raise the remaining funds needed for his surgery.
