Ugandan dancehall artist Crescent Baguma Popularly known as Bennie Gunter, has been released from United Arabs Emirates ( UAE) cell, where he had reportedly been detained on charges of violent conduct and vandalizing property.
Despite being released on bail ,he has been barred from leaving UAE and also been fined 5000 dirhams by Abu- Dhabi authorities as a condition for his release .
Reports indicate that Gunnter will reappear before the court on Monday January 29 ,2024
According to reports , alleged that Bennie Gunter was arrested a few days ago at Dubai airport where he was promptly whisked away to dentation center in Abu-Dhabi.
The Tubayo singer jetted off to the middle East with the mother of his son a few weeks ago , for two much – anticipated Performances – one at the trendy V- Club in Dubai and other the other in the bustling city of Abu – Dhabi.
However, an incident unfolded in Abu – Dhabi after the gig when two Promoters involved in altercation over undisclosed matters , Bennie Gunter,in an attempt to mediate the chaos ended up taking the brunt of the brawl and suffered a bit of a beating.
Authorities were quick to intervene as the chaos spilled over ,with reports suggesting that property at the bar where the choas went down where Vandalized.
