Renowned Ugandan artist Bebe Cool has responded to criticism from fellow musicians, declaring that he has no time for those he considers to have “shallow minds.”
Speaking in light of recent backlash over his outspoken views on the music industry and national affairs, the Gagamel boss dismissed the negativity, saying he’s focused on progress, not drama.
“I don’t have time for artists who have shallow minds .We need to focus on progress, not unnecessary attacks and drama.”Bebe Cool stated.
Bebe Cool, a prominent figure in Uganda’s music scene, is known for voicing strong opinions. While his bold stance has earned him respect from some quarters, it has also sparked tension with younger artists who label him as arrogant or out of touch.
Unfazed, Bebe Cool emphasized that experience should be used to uplift the industry, not to fuel feuds.
“It’s time for serious work,If you want to grow, stop attacking others and invest in your craft.”he said.
Currently working on new music and mentorship initiatives, He says his priority is supporting emerging talent and helping shape the future of Ugandan music.
