The Ugandan music industry has been rocked by reports that singer and Fangone Forest boss, Alien Skin real name Patrick Mulwana has gone missing.
His disappearance comes in the wake of recent comments by the junior minister for youth, who warned that artists associated with gangs are under investigation for serious crimes, including murder.

Last week, police raided the Fangone Forest camp in Makindye following allegations that members of the music group were involved in the assault of a dancer known as Top Dancer, whose real name was Wilfred Namuwaya.
In a video recorded before his death, Top Dancer claimed he had been severely beaten by individuals linked to Fangone Forest. Reports suggest he was abducted from his home in Ndeeba and taken to the group’s base in Kizungu, Makindye, where the alleged assault took place.
The attack is believed to have been in retaliation for his decision to leave the group.

Alien Skin has since denied any criminal affiliation, insisting that Fangone Forest is a music collective not a gang.
However, following the incident, calls have grown louder for authorities to arrest those responsible. Meanwhile, those close to Alien Skin say he has been unreachable for the past two days, raising concerns about his safety and whereabouts.
Supporters of the artist have taken to social media and streets to demand that the government disclose his location.
“We’re giving the government 24 hours to tell us where our friend is. Please produce him or at least tell us what’s going on. We’re quiet now, but we’re about to make the loudest noise.”said fellow artist and close associate Fik Gaza in Tik Tok video.
As of now, police have not officially responded to the growing public outcry or provided any updates on Alien Skin’s status.
