Renowned media personality Alpha Kato Jingo Hussein, popularly known as Alfa Timez, has officially announced his departure from Galaxy FM after three years of service.
Taking to his social media earlier today, Alfa expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Kansanga-based station for offering him a platform to grow and connect with audiences across both radio and television.
“With a thankful heart, I say goodbye to the Zzina family (@GalaxyFMUg & @GalaxyTVUg). From the radio mic to the TV screen — it’s been 3 great years of growth, fun and connection. Thank you for walking with me. Once a muzzinyi, always a muzzinyi,” he shared.
While Alfa has yet to confirm his next move, a glance at his Instagram bio hints at a possible transition to Next Media Services, headquartered in Naguru.

If confirmed, Alfa would be following in the footsteps of several other high-profile media personalities who have recently joined the Next Media family, including Haffy Powers, formerly of BBS TV.
