Alex Muhangi, the founder of Comedy Store UG, will appear in City Hall Court tomorrow in response to a lawsuit filed by Bebe Cool.
The legal dispute stems from claims that Alex Muhangi shared videos of Bebe Cool’s performances on Comedy Store platforms without the singer’s permission.
The conflict between the two entertainers became public last month, leading Bebe Cool to pursue legal action.
The Gagamel boss alleges that Muhangi’s use of his past performances at Comedy Store, without approval, is a violation of copyright law. The matter has now moved from social media discussions to a formal legal battle.
On his X account, Muhangi confirmed the court summons and appealed for support.

“As some of you may know, I’m dealing with a legal issue with Bebe Cool regarding the Comedy Store videos I posted. The situation is serious. I’ll be in court tomorrow at 9 AM at City Hall. Please come if you can, and don’t forget your National ID and LC Letter if you’re willing to stand as surety for me. I truly appreciate your support—it means everything to me.”,Alex stated.

The court hearing is set for 9 AM, with Muhangi asking friends and fans to attend and offer support, especially those willing to stand as sureties.
