He shared, “This is fake news. I’m back in New Zealand for my pet rabbit’s funeral,” clarifying that his reason for leaving Uganda was deeply personal, not related to any legal or governmental action.
Boda, who had been in Uganda filming content that some locals found provocative and damaging to the country’s image, faced rumors earlier this week suggesting that his exit was linked to backlash from his videos.
