Raising artist Ava Peace has addressed recent rumors about her travels abroad following the circulation of a video showing her and media personality Sheila Gashumba enjoying themselves at a high-end venue outside Uganda.
After the video sparked speculation that the two had traveled for the purpose of meeting wealthy men, Ava was quick to clarify the situation. She emphasized that her international trips are strictly for work-related purposes, including performances and bookings, and not for any personal rendezvous as some had suggested.
Ava explained, “I have never traveled abroad for hookups. I always go for my bookings and to work. It’s not what people think. It just so happened that I ran into Sheila at the same venue, and I asked her to join my new song challenge—nothing more to it.”
She also reaffirmed her commitment to her music career, promising that new projects are on the way.
