Best Top Five Musicians In Western Uganda

Music and artists are not only in capital city of Uganda but there are also several talented artists from other regions and here are some of the best musicians in Western Uganda.

1. Ray G

Born on 12th June 1992, Ray G Rhaiganz is a Ugandan singer and songwriter who mainly sings hetitage music in Runayankore a language spoken in Mbarara Western Uganda.

Ray G kicked off his music career way back in 2009 and he had since then shared platforms with big central musicians loke Eddy Kenzo, Jose Chameleon, Spice Diana, with whom they did a collaboration dubbed Omusheshe, a nice song that topped charts among others and he has sang songs like Amarari, Make a way, Weeshe to mention but a few.

 

2. Omega 256

A female musician from the south western part of Uganda who is versatile who is also signed under Shab Empire record label.

Omega 256 is famously known for songs like Keeza, This year, Omuzaire, Chamuka, No money among others.

 

3. T-Paul 256

Famously known as Western Uganda’s vocalist, real names Taremwa Paul is a Ugandan musician who sings in Runyankole with an urban touch.

T Paul 256 started off his music career in 2016 and through hard work and determination, he has managed to release bangers including Ekirabo, Nyamunyonyi, Ekimuri Rose among others.

 

4. Emily Kikazi

Born on 2nd September 1982, Emily Kikazi is a Ugandan musician who hails from Western Uganda, sings mainly in Runyankole  a Christian and television personality.

Emily Kikazi is famously known for songs like Ekirooto, Back to Back, Mwana Wangye to mention but a few.

 

5. Heli Baibe

A Ugandan musician and songwriter real names Agaba Loice Kabanda based in Western Uganda (Kasese) district and is signed under KANTA group.

Haile Baine has managed to maintain the consistence of being the best Rwenzururu region by releasing quite a number of songs including Commando, Omukwe, Make me famous among others.

 

However, music is not only from Kampala but also there’s more talented musicians all over the Pearl Of Africa.
