1. Kampala Serena Hotel
A hotel located in the heart of Kampala the capital city of Uganda and was rated as a 5 star hotel by the Uganda Tourism Board. It is owned by a consortium which includes three cooperate entities that is; Tourism Promotion Services, a Division of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development, Proparco a French Property Investment Company and the Uganda National Social Security Fund.
Kampala Serena Hotel is also located in a secure environment in the centre of Kampala which is 40km from Entebbe International Airport and therefore provides the perfect accommodation for its guests.
It should however be noted that the International Conference Centre at Serena Hotel was constructed in 1975 to host the 13th Summit of the Organization of African Unity and used by Idi Amin one of the Country’s former Presidents for his personal activities.
