Renowned Ugandan Singer, Mansoor Ssemanda alias King Saha Was Confronted by police during his live performance at The Villa Bar and Restaurant in Bukoto, Kampala.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night during the Shades of Kampala event which is hosted by Galaxy FM’s Mr. Henrie.
Reports indicate that King Saha’s performance was abruptly halted due to his lack of a permit to perform at the venue. However, other sources claim that security personnel at the venue only warned him not to incite the audience with political messages in his songs.
In a video obtained by our website, King Saha can be seen asserting that he is not afraid of being arrested and that no one can dictate how he performs his music.
“Even if they arrest me, they’ll let me free. Let me finish my performance,” he stated.
King Saha has recently been outspoken against the government. Just a few weeks ago, police blocked his concert in Bukomansimbi – Masaka due to his involvement in Bobi Wine’s political rallies.
