Singer Deus Ndugwa alias Grenade Official was left in disgrace recently after being bounced at just concluded Lydia Jazmine’s Concert at Hotel Africana in Kampala.
On Friday ( 1st March 2024 ) Songstress, Lydia Jazmine held a successful Concert at Hotel Africana – Kampala dubbed ” First Born’.
The show featured several Musicians including : Geosteady , Fik Fameica ,Ykee Benda , Chance Nalubega, Pia Pounds , Rickman , Henry Tigan , among many others.
However , former Tema No Sleep (TNS) singer Grenade Official’s intentions to perform at the event were dealt a heavy blow when the Promoter of the event identified as Yasin K events blocked him from accessing the event together with his entourage.
While appearing on Galaxy TV with Alfa Times, Grenade Official revealed that he was chased away with his entourage at recently concluded Lydia Jazmine’s concert as he expressed his disappointment with the events promoter and Organiser, Yasin K events for chasing him away with team when he turned up to show support and perform his Collaboration song with Lydia Jazmine.
He further cautioned event promoters to stop their act of embarrassing artists as it is not good exhibition and it would Spark feud and hatred between fellow artists as he warned them that if such acts continues artists would resort at Organising concerts for themselves and boycott promoters something he believes is very possible to end the embarrassment that some artists are treated to.
“Please promoters stop disrespecting musicians at concerts. You organize an artists’ show and again, you want to separate them from fellow artists. I was very embarrassed last night. I came with my people and I was told that I had to get access alone which is very impossible.
I arrived when I was the next on stage but then I got very embarrassed. My team and I were chased outside and when I heard Lydia singing our collaboration without me, I didn’t feel good at all.”,he stated.
This not the first time Grenade Official to be bounced at music events ,last year he was year he was bounced at “Tuli Bulala” Concert at Theater Labonita which was Organized by Tiktokers.
