The Uganda Police has announced a reward of Shs20 million for any one providing valuable information leading to the arresting of the suspected gunmen responsible for the attack on Pastor Aloysius Bugingo.
The incident, which occurred at Bwalakata Junction in Namungoona, resulted in the tragic death of Bugingo’s bodyguard, Richard Muhumuza.
Despite sustaining minor injuries, Pastor Bugingo managed to drive himself to Mulago Hospital for immediate treatment.
The police spokesperson, Fred Enanga while speaking to the Journalists on Monday in Kampa, urged the public to confidentially share any information related to the attack with the Special Investigations Division at the Criminal Investigations Department in Kibuli, Kampala.
He emphasized Shs20 million bounty for valid information on the assailants.
“We have offered cash of Shs20 million to any member of the public that avails this information [leading to the arest of suspects and recovery of killer gun] to us,” police spokesperson Fred Enanga told journalists in Kampala.
