Ugandan singer Clever J and his son Jeremiah are lucky to be alive after getting involved in a serious road accident earlier today in Nakasongola, an incident that claimed the life of their driver Paul Kizito.
According to preliminary reports, Clever J was travelling his team including ; Power Kid, Kasozi Jeremy, and driver Kizito when their vehicle crashed, leaving several passengers with severe injuries.
A video circulating online shows he lying in an ambulance, visibly in pain, while his young son is seen with both legs fractured. Power Kid is also reported to be in critical condition, with other members sustaining varying degrees of injuries.
All survivors have been rushed to Mulago Hospital, where medical teams are working to stabilize their conditions.
Clever J, famous for hits like “Manzi Wanani” and “Ensi Yaleeta,” remains a respected figure in the music industry, and news of the accident has sent shockwaves across the entertainment world.
