Ugandan influencer Mutebi Amiri, popularly known as Dictator Amir, has opened up about his struggles to see his children after splitting with singer Chosen Becky.
According to Amir, ever since their breakup, the “Bankuza” hitmaker has completely cut him off from their kids, leaving him with no way to contact or take care of them.
Speaking in a recent TV interview, Amir revealed that all his attempts to reach his children have been unsuccessful, saying every avenue to access them has been blocked.
“I’ve been denied access to my kids. Every effort to see them has failed, and I can’t even take care of them because I don’t have any contact,” he said.
After parting ways, Chosen Becky moved on with her new man, Ssekajja, and the two recently got engaged. Amir, who has also since found peace with the situation, believes Becky’s decision to distance him from the children might be influenced by her new relationship.
“When someone finds a new partner, they want to prove that they’re completely done with their ex. Maybe that’s what’s happening here.But I’m patient. Whether it takes two, three, or more years, I know I’ll eventually see my kids again.”Amir explained .
Despite the situation, Amir insists he holds no grudge against Becky or Ssekajja. In fact, he wished them well in their relationship and even appreciated Ssekajja for fulfilling one of his personal dreams taking the children to Mecca.
“I have no problem with Becky or her fiancé. I actually thank Ssekajja for taking my children to Mecca; that was always my dream,” he added.
Amir remains hopeful that time will heal the rift and that he’ll one day reunite with his children.
