Singer Douglas Mayanja, popularly known as Weasel, has spoken out for the first time about reconciling with his partner and mother of his children, Sandra Teta, following a highly publicized altercation.
A few months ago, the couple made headlines after a heated argument at a popular Kampala nightspot reportedly turned violent.
According to police reports, the situation escalated over a week-long domestic dispute, culminating in Sandra allegedly hitting Weasel with her car an incident that left the singer with serious injuries, including broken legs.
The event sparked widespread concern from fans and the public, with many questioning the state of their often tumultuous relationship. Over the years, Weasel and Sandra’s partnership has seen its share of public drama and personal challenges.
Despite this, the couple who have been together for over five years and share two children appear to be moving forward. In a recent interview, Weasel revealed that he has forgiven Sandra and that they are now focusing on healing and co-parenting.
“I’m still in a lot of pain, but I’m working hard to recover,amid everything, I’ve found peace and calm. Sandra has been taking care of me, and I truly appreciate that.”Weasel shared.
He emphasized that love remains at the core of their relationship. “I forgave my wife. We’re happy now, and we’ve moved on from all the public criticism. What matters most is that we’re raising our children together.”
