Renowned Ugandan comedian Patrick Salvado has addressed recent speculation surrounding his wife, Daphine Frankstock, and her move to Canada.
Speaking candidly in recent interview with Kasuku, Salvado revealed that Daphine is thriving abroad and that the decision for her to relocate was made jointly and out of a desire for personal growth not because of marital issues.

“Greener pastures doesn’t mean you’re struggling where you are,I might be doing well here, but my wife wasn’t. She felt something was missing in her life.”,Salvado explained.
He also shed light on how his public profile inadvertently created challenges for Daphine back home.
According to Salvado, employers were hesitant to hire her, fearing repercussions if she faced mistreatment due to his celebrity status.

“I actually became more of a burden,People were scared to employ her, thinking I might go public if anything went wrong. That blocked a lot of opportunities for her.”,he admitted.
Encouraged by Salvado’s sisters who live abroad, Daphine made the move to Canada in late 2024 a decision the family supported wholeheartedly.
Salvado says the change has had a positive impact on both her well-being and their relationship.

“She’s doing well, very happy, and the marital problems we had are no more. We’re very okay now.”he shared.
