Ugandan singer Aroma Music has made a startling revelation about her early days in the music industry, admitting that she once turned to witchcraft in a desperate attempt to accelerate her rise to fame.
In a recent interview, Aroma spoke openly about the pressures she faced as a budding artist and how they led her to seek supernatural help. She confessed to paying Shs500,000 to a fellow musician who claimed they could use witchcraft to boost her career just before she released a collaborative track.
But rather than achieving the breakthrough she hoped for, Aroma said things quickly unraveled.
“After making the payment, I faced even more problems. The collaboration I believed would launch my career ended up failing, and instead of moving forward, I felt stuck and overwhelmed.”,she recounted.
The experience, though painful, proved to be a turning point. Now an advocate for perseverance and hard work, Aroma has completely distanced herself from shortcuts.

“I’ve come to understand that real success is built on talent, dedication, and patience. “There are no magical solutions.”, Aroma Music said.
She also offered a heartfelt warning to other up-and-coming artists: “Avoid the traps. Hone your craft, stay consistent, and believe in your path. Shortcuts like witchcraft won’t get you where you want to go.”
Her candid admission has sparked conversation within the music community, shining a light on the intense pressure many young artists face and the extreme decisions some may consider as they chase recognition.
Now on a steady path of growth and success, Aroma Music hopes her story will serve as both a warning and a source of encouragement for others trying to make it in the music industry.
