Legendary Ugandan musician Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone has officially announced that he will be hosting a major concert at Kololo Airstrip in August 2025.
The news was shared by Chameleone on his social media platforms, where he revealed the tentative dates for the highly anticipated event.
The concert will be organized and promoted by renowned events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, also known as Abitex.
“Kololo Airstrip, August 1, 2025, it’s a public holiday!!!” Abitex posted on his Facebook page.
Although Abitex initially planned to hold the concert in June, Chameleone opted for August after receiving advice from his doctors to take two months of rest.
Chameleone’s last concert took place in August 2024 at Serena Hotel in Kampala.
His upcoming performance is eagerly awaited, as fans are excited to experience his extensive music catalog, powerful stage presence, and remarkable vocal abilities once again.

The concert is expected to attract a record-breaking crowd, reaffirming Chameleone’s dominant position in the Ugandan music scene.
Currently in the United States, the singer is expected to return to Kampala on Thursday, April 10, 2025, as confirmed by close friend and media personality, Dagy Nyce.
