Popular Ugandan rapper Walukagga Shafik alias Fik Fameica attributes his success to one essential belief: avoiding comparisons with other artists.
In a recent interview, he revealed that many musicians fail to reach their full potential because they focus too much on comparing themselves to their peers.
He believes that such comparisons are a major factor in the downfall of many in the music industry.
Fik Fameica also emphasized that he does not see any other artist he could compare himself to.
He clarified that this is not meant to disrespect anyone, but rather to reflect his high self-regard. In his opinion, many other artists fall short in some way.
When asked about the possibility of a musical showdown, he boldly stated that no one would dare challenge him.
He further explained that a fair battle would only be possible if three artists teamed up to take him on, as he believes it would take a collective effort to create a level playing field.
