Dokta Brain has officially confirmed his departure from Zhafar Music Agency, just months after entering into a partnership with the label in March 2025.
In a candid statement, the artist shared that the collaboration didn’t meet his expectations particularly when it came to promoting his music on a mainstream level.
“The goal was to take the music mainstream, especially with the album but that didn’t happen. We had planned an African tour to support it, but that also fell through,” he explained.
He went on to describe a growing disconnect between his pace and the label’s direction.
“Eventually, I realized our visions weren’t aligning. I was moving too fast, and we just weren’t on the same wavelength anymore.”

Despite the professional differences, Dokta Brain expressed appreciation for the efforts Zhafar Music Agency invested in his project.
“I’m grateful for the work they put into the album and for believing in my artistic vision,” he said.
Addressing speculation about the terms of his contract, Dokta Brain clarified:

“I can’t reveal the contract details that was part of our agreement. But they don’t own my music. I write all of it myself.”
