Reports indicate that the reigning Uganda Premier league ( UPL) and Uganda Champions, Vipers SC have parted ways with head coach Charles Livingston Mbabazi after his failure to show up at the club after Vipers’ one- all – draw with Bright stars in kitende last Thursday.
According to senior sports Journalist, Clive Kyazze , disclosed via his X Platform that he apparently returned for their Stanbic Uganda cup round of 16 tie against Iganga Young FC ,but club president Mulindwa, who was away in the UK for Official duties ordered that he should not be allowed near the team.
And that the order would stand untill he come up with a written explanation for his absence from the club duties, which Mbabazi has until now failed to fullfil.
In his response to his absence after the Iganga Young game , Mbabazi noted that he was attacked by malaria that made him not possible to attend club duties.
He has been sacked just after three months in charge since his appointment in the hot seat on a two – year employment.
Mbabazi has been in charge of six games since his appointment in January , managing four wins and two stalemates across all competitions.
And according to close sources to Mulindwa alleges that now he is looking for a new head coach to replace Livingston.
