Hollywood actor and American R&B singer Tyrese Gibson has officially confirmed his upcoming visit to Uganda, thrilling fans with the announcement on Instagram.
“Rumor has it—I’m on my way to Uganda. If you’re looking for a confirmation, it’s true!” he shared excitedly.
Gibson, best known for his role in the Fast & Furious franchise, will be attending the Uganda Coffee Festival to celebrate the country’s rich coffee culture and support local farmers.
Beyond the festival, he has also pledged to take part in the Coffee Marathon, scheduled for May 24, 2025, at the Africa Coffee Park in Ntungamo.
This year’s marathon carries the theme “Uplifting the Rural Coffee Woman Out of Poverty”, aiming to raise funds and awareness to support rural women in Uganda’s coffee sector.
Expressing his commitment to the cause, Tyrese stated:
“I stand in support of the Coffee Marathon, empowering the rural women in Uganda’s coffee communities—these are the women who make it possible for us to enjoy a great cup of coffee.”
Adding to the excitement, Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz is set to headline the event, making the festival an unforgettable experience.
