Religiously, there is a group of pastors dominating the capital city and therefore have managed to conquer a huge number of followers and believers. However, they have earned sums of wealth through their pastoral activities.

1. Pastor Samuel Kakande

The self proclaimed great prophet of God, was born and raised in Uganda. He is the Chair of the Synagogue Church of all Nations in Mulago.

2. Pastor Joseph Sserwada

With over 479 branches, Pastor Joseph Sserwadda is the senior Minister of Victory Christian Centre churches allover the globe and is the presiding apostle of the born again faith.

3. Pastor Robert Kayanja

He is the founder and senior pastor of Miracle Centre Cathedral a mega church in the heart of Kampala city. He is also the founder and  CEO of Channel 44, Christian Television.

Pastor Robert Kayanja was born in Masooli Gayaza and he is of an estimated net worth of $741million.

 

4. Pastor Aloysious Bujingo

Born on 25th November 1972, he is a Ugandan born again pastor and businessman , the director of Salt Media Group of Companies and a church in Makerere kikoni.

He also owns the House of Prayer Ministries International which is also known as Canaan land. Pastor Aloysious Bujingo was named the most influential born again preacher by the East Africa book of records. He is of an estimated net worth of $200million.

 

5. Pastor Garry Skinner

Founder and visionary leader of the Watoto Church formerly known as the Kampala Pentecostal Church. He founded the church with his wife Marlilyn in 1984 in a time of civil war.

The church was planted in Kampala to to speak hope and life to the Nation and he is of an estimated net worth of about $130million.
