Ugandan TikTok star and journalist Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden, is currently fighting for his life at TMR International Hospital after his health suddenly deteriorated just days after launching a fundraiser for his treatment.
Jayden, who has lived with sickle cell anemia since childhood, was recently hit with another devastating diagnosis: aplastic anemia, a rare condition where the bone marrow completely stops producing blood.
Doctors have given him a strict three-month window to undergo a bone marrow transplant, or his life will be at serious risk.
The procedure is set to take place at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, where specialists will handle the transplant, tests, consultations and donor search.
But the bill is overwhelming—KES 2.5M to 6M (about UGX 80M–200M), an amount far beyond what Jayden and his family can afford. A fundraising campaign has now been launched to save his life.

As he continues to battle from his hospital bed at TMR, supporters pray he can raise enough funds in time to travel to Kenya for the life-saving transplant.
