The management of Buganda Kingdom-owned radio station CBS FM has finally spoken out on the prolonged absence of their senior presenter and celebrated political analyst Meddie Nsereko, following weeks of speculation surrounding his sudden disappearance from the airwaves.
Over the past week, social media has been awash with rumors claiming that Nsereko had been suspended or fired from CBS FM due to alleged misunderstandings with Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga. Others alleged that the veteran broadcaster had been forced to take a break to “clear his mind.”

The statement further emphasized that management is closely monitoring his health situation and wished him a speedy recovery and safe return so he can resume his duties and continue serving CBS FM and the Buganda Kingdom.
Reliable sources with in CBS have also revealed that Nsereko is currently in the United Kingdom, where he is undergoing treatment while staying with family members.

“He applied for sick leave because his eyes have a defect which he wants to treat in the UK,” a trusted source within CBS FM told our reporter.
